Veterans Parade

For over 50 years, the Greater Randolph Area Veterans Council (GRAVC) is proud to continue the tradition of the Annual Universal City Veterans Parade. This parade is the oldest continuous Veterans Parade in the San Antonio Area and honors veterans of all United States wars.

Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025

Time: 10:30 AM

Location: The parade route runs downs Pat Booker Rd. between Universal City Blvd. and Byrd. Viewers may set up their perfect spot roadside or grab a seat at the grandstands.

Grandstands: Randolph Plaza Shopping Center, 934 Pat Booker Rd.

Veterans Parade Route Map

The Universal City Veterans Parade has been host to more than 40 groups participating in the parade, including various military groups, police & fire departments, schools, and local businesses and organizations. Register a group, business, or organization for a spot in the parade. Vehicles, trailers, floats, horses, and marching groups are all welcome.

  • Registration deadline is Friday, October 11, 2025.
  • A GRAVC representative will email those registered with the lineup confirmation and parade information prior November 8, 2025.
  • Notice: Participants in the parade are no longer able to throw candy from vehicles. You can only distribute candy or flyers if you are walking the parade route.

Deadline to sign up to be a sponsor is November 1. 

Event Traffic:

Pat Booker Rd. will be closed off from UC Blvd. to Byrd Blvd. starting at 10:00 AM. Cars will not be able to drive down Pat Booker once the road is closed until the parade is completed.

The parade holding area is along UC Blvd. Please drive with caution if you are driving along the parade floats and vehicles.
